Well, the helpdesk was in need of some help himself on this trip. I found out fast that the Pamlico was not made for this at all! Gusto and I hit Patton's run (pictured here) just the way the guidebook suggested. However, we both found that the left side would have been the better way to go. Of course we know who made it through with no problems at all. Yep, the same dude who did the first class II on the green backward! Not only did my Pamlico not like Patton's run. The long wave trains pretty much sank me every 2 to 3 miles. I had to bail (literally) on this trip about 1/4 down the river.
